Teen Challenge Montana Women’s Outreach Residential Center is a faith-based, 20 bed facility for women ages 18+ who desire to get free from the life controlling problems such as drug, alcohol and destructive behaviors.
Teen Challenge has become a solution to the addiction crisis. It is known throughout the world for providing successful recovery programs for over 50 years. Teen Challenge was started over 50 years ago by David Wilkerson, author of “The Cross and the Switchblade.”
SAMSHA states that 13.8% of Missoulians use illicit drugs compared to 8% nationally.
Teen Challenge Women’s Outreach takes women who have little to no financial means to provide for their recovery and therefore work diligently to aid in those expenses through fund raisers of all sorts. We desire the ability to speak to your civic groups, churches or businesses and share the vision of Teen Challenge and how we help our community on a daily basis. When women become healthy, families have a chance and communities are strengthened.
Teen Challenge’s Higher Ground Espresso (I-90 and Orange Street Exit) and the Teen Challenge Thrift Store were created to help women learn work ethics as well as to offset some of the costs of their care in the program.
