The Mothers’ Milk Bank of Montana is proud to be a non-profit organization that collects, screens, pasteurizes and distributes human donor milk to infants who do not have access to their own mother’s milk. We are the only human donor milk bank in the contiguous five state region that includes Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. We are passionate about serving a true need.

Startling statistics show that 1 in 8 babies is born too early, with premature births responsible for a myriad of medical issues. As nature’s intended natural nutrition, breast milk is also nature’s best protection. Mother’s milk proves to be highly effective in providing the best protection against potentially devastating infections in premature babies and other infants needing special care.

For a variety of reasons, a baby’s mom is sometimes not able to provide her own milk to meet her baby’s needs. And that’s where the Mother’s Milk Bank of Montana comes in. Due to the generosity of mothers who have more than enough breast milk for their own child, we are able to pass the blessings of human donor milk along to babies whose very lives may depend on that gift. We are always looking for moms who wish to share their breast milk.
