Fans set to attend the annual Grizzly Scholarship Association Spring Football Game on April 7, will now have the chance to experience Washington-Grizzly Stadium’s new premium seating zone, The Grizzly Den, in the leadup to kickoff.
The GSA announced Wednesday it will move its pre-game tailgate party from the traditional location in the grove at the River Bowl to the new Grizzly Den on the 200 level of the east concourse inside the stadium.
The move will give all fans a chance to enjoy the exclusive venue with pre-game beer, wine, and seltzers while offering restrooms and private concessions and the ability to take a drink to their seats in the 200 level during the scrimmage.
The GSA tailgate is open to all fans at this year’s spring with no entry fee. In the fall, access to the Grizzly Den will be open to members only as Washington-Grizzly Stadium’s third premium seating option, in addition to the Canyon Club and Hellgate Terrace.
Tickets to the spring game are available now and cost $10 each. All seats are general admission. Proceeds from the event go directly to the GSA and its mission to provide scholarships to student-athletes.
The GSA tailgate in the Grizzly Den is set to open two hours before kickoff of the spring game at 4 p.m. The scrimmage is set to get underway at 6 p.m. Entrance to the spring game will be through the south gate at Washington-Grizzly Stadium only.
With classes still in session and campus still fully operational that Friday afternoon, tailgating outside the stadium will not be available.
Fans not able to attend the spring game in person can catch all the action on SWX TV and ESPN+.
Season ticket deposits are available now. Don’t miss your chance to secure tickets to all six of Montana’s home games for the 2023 season, including the opportunity to get access to the Grizzly Den.
