After a two year-hiatus, Missoula’s premier winter event returns this weekend on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Held in a new location – the parking lot of the Boone & Crockett Club on the Hip Strip – due to construction in Caras Park, the 11th Annual Winter BrewFest will feature beer, cider, wine, food, and entertainment from 1-5pm. Missoulians are invited to join the Missoula Downtown Association and shake off those winter blues while reconnecting to their community in the Heart of Missoula.
Sponsored by Gecko Designs, Trail 103.3, and TrailWest Bank, and Summit Independent Living, Winter BrewFest features over 40 microbrews and ciders as well as a wine and mimosa bar. Kombucha, water and non-alcoholic drinks for non-drinkers and designated drivers will also be available. This year’s event will again feature entertainment from DJ TRX, as well as food from two of Missoula’s best food trucks: El Cazador and River City Eats. Attendees can stay warm throughout the event thanks to burn barrels.
Winter BrewFest is free for all to enjoy, although those looking to taste beers, wine, and mimosas will need to purchase an official event glass for $20 per person, which includes five drink tokens. Additional tokens are two for $3. Attendees are reminded that the event is cash-only. Event organizers encourage attendees to drink responsibly and bring designated drivers.
