The Missoula Community Theatre is holding an open audition on Sunday, August 29th for Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree written by Dan Goggin who wrote other popular Nunsense-themed productions. Director Michael McGill is looking to cast women and men, ages 20 and older in this light-hearted comedy. The music is country-western in style, the humor style is knee-slapping, silly fun.
The small cast features four Catholic Nuns including one with amnesia, a young novice, a Superintendent of a Diocese, and a streetwise Sister from Brooklyn. Rounding out the cast are one male Priest and a stage manager that can be cast without regard to gender. The audition will take place from 1:00-4:00PM on Sunday, August 29th at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts on the third floor. Please use the Main Street entrance. No advance preparation is required to audition, and this production has no roles for children. There are no perusal scripts available for this Missoula Community Theatre production.
Live performances of Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree will run from October 21-31, 2021, at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. For more information, call 406-728-1911.
