Whitefish Stage Organic Farms recently completed the construction of a 4,000-straw-bale maze shaped like a grizzly bear. The maze took about four weeks and hundreds of hours to assemble.
The maze is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 27. General admission to the maze is $8 and free for children 2 years and younger with an adult. There is a special discount for groups of 10 or more.
As well as the maze, general admission includes a barrel train ride, hay wagon ride, mini-maze puzzle, giant inflatable pillow, super trampoline, a barn-jungle gym, corn play bins, corn-hole, pumpkin bowling and farm-animals petting zoo.
The farm has its own food truck serving farm burgers with local grass fed beef and farm veggies as well as fresh apple cider and baked goods. The farm will also be selling its pumpkins during this time.
