World’s Largest Garage Sale at the University of Montana
Description: It’s time again to clear out all those unwanted items you just can’t throw in the trash and join vendors at UM on Saturday, October 12th for “The World’s Largest Garage Sale.”
The event will be held – rain or shine (even snow!) – on the lower two levels of the University’s covered parking garage from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Setup for vendors will begin at 7:30 a.m. The parking garage is just off Campus Drive, next to the Mansfield Library. The sale offers an opportunity to recycle furniture, house wares, clothes – anything that might have value to community residents or to students who are trying to furnish new apartments. For $25, vendors will get two parking spaces, each 9 feet by 18 feet. Additional spaces are available for $10 each. Previous sales, which are held every Spring and Fall, have attracted almost a hundred sellers and thousands of shoppers. Don’t miss this chance to turn unwanted items into cash.
