Former Congressman Pat Williams Recommended to Help Oversee the University System
Public comments regarding the three men recommended to the Montana Board of Regents were heard by the Senate Education Committee. Although three men were named as possible candidates, the bulk of the public comment was directed toward Pat Williams and his controversial remarks regarding crimes committed by certain members of the University of Montana’s football team. 96th Annual Forester’s Ball Hopes to Make Event Safer after Last Year’s Problems
Construction began in the University of Montana’s Adam’s Center in preparation for the 96th annual Forester’s Ball. This year’s event is under scrutiny after the 95th ball drew large crowds of very intoxicated attendees. More than 100 students were removed from the 2012 university fundraising event. Wayfinding Project Aims to Help Missoula Visitors find City’s Attractions
Finding your way around Missoula can be a difficult even for visitors. Most of the city’s streets weren’t laid out in what could be construed as a logical fashion. Destination Missoula hopes to make tourists and visitors to town a little more comfortable by creating a system directions through multiple media in which people can find and locate everything Missoula has to offer. “Mayors on Wheels” has Local Officials Delivering Meals to Missoula’s Elderly and Adults with Disabilities
As part of the national March on Meals campaign city officials will take much needed meals to area residents who face severe challenges. The campaign is designed to bring awareness to the plight of the nation’s citizens who, without such services as “Meals on Wheels”, might go without food.
