Forgive me for making you wait so long! With Thanksgiving break and the last couple weeks of the semester winding down, my head has been spinning.
Unfortunately unable to make it out on the town much lately, I haven’t been able to capture any style on the streets. I do have some fun projects in the making for posts this month that I am looking forward to sharing!
Even though I have been swamped with school and other life things, I have been able to squeeze in a few lovely photo shoots with my talented photographer Brian Johnson, of Ayres Photography, in the past couple weeks!
The weekend before Thanksgiving we had a night shoot, strangely inspired by the crisp, winter evening.
A Romantic Forest Feast.
Styling shoots, my most adored chore. When three of my lovely friends agreed to model with me, I was beyond ecstatic!
I picked out vintage according to their style, capturing each ones unique personality, then we hit the University library.
Ashley Newcomb and Ilse Mehus, above and Sarah Sather below, blew me away, they are so elegant! I will certainly be featuring them all individually in the future, thank you loves!
The library shoot wasn’t inspired by the busy weeks leading up to the close of the semester, but is a wonderful representation! As a marketing major, closing my second to last autumn semester before graduating I have been swamped with research projects, advertisement analysis and proposal papers along with study for finals, all of which fall the week before finals week, meaning this week. Yucky.
My most recent shoot just last week, we decided just to take it easy, feature a few 1960’s acrylic sweaters to get in the shop. Remaining completely loyal to high waisted everything, I wore my favorite Cheap Monday high rise jeans with three different vintage sweaters and tower wedge oxfords from Forever 21.
All it takes is high rise and a crop top to make a killer outfit!
Now that the semester is finally over, I’m hitting the town, see you there!

Hi! I’m Jaclyn, owner and stylist at MaudeLady Vintage. Besides spending all my days in the Business Building at the University of Montana becoming a marketing expert, I can be found frolicking the streets of downtown Missoula in search of coffee, vintage treasures, and ridiculously, insanely stylish people.
