The Missoula Community Theatre announces OPEN AUDITIONS for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Sunday, February 25th at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. This iconic tale is the finale of the 2023-2024 season and auditions are open to all genders ages 10 and older. From 12:30-2:30PM, adults 18 and older are welcome to audition and children ages 10-17 from 2:30-4:30PM. Callbacks will follow. Use the Main street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor to complete an audition form. This is a three-week run, with public performances scheduled for April 25-May 12, 2024. No previous experience is necessary to audition. More specific information about the roles and music will be available on the MCT website by February 12th.
This classic, fantastical fairy tale features some of Disney’s most beloved characters and musical numbers. Among named roles to be cast are Belle, the Beast, Lefou, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Gaston, Lumiere, Madame De La Grande Bouche and also an ensemble. Joseph Martinez, Director, looks to select a cast of 30, including 10 children (ages 10-17). Gregory Boris will serve as the Music Director for this production.
