It’s time to reconnect to your community – the 15th Annual River City Roots Festival returns on August 27-28! This event is Missoula’s Signature Celebration, highlighting all of the amazing things that make Missoula, Missoula: music, art, culture, local food and drinks, active lifestyles, and community.
The Festival kicks off at 11am on Friday with the Art Show and the food court vendors ready to serve you for all your lunchtime needs. Music starts with the ever-popular ZACC Rock Camp bands at 12:30pm. A full day of music ends with Super Chikan on the stage at 8:30. Saturday morning starts with the 4-Mile fun – produced by Run Wild Missoula – in Kiwanis Park. The Family Roots Fest kicks off in Caras Park at 10am with dozens of activities and live entertainment. Get good eats and drinks starting at noon in the main festival area with family favorite Cowboy Andy and the Salamanders kicking off the music at 12:30pm. Missoula’s own The Lil Smokies close out the festival.
