In an effort to stimulate commerce during a traditionally slow quarter, the Downtown Missoula Partnership will be hosting the first-ever Downtown Dine Local Week, slated for January 25-31, 2021 in Downtown Missoula. With more than 100 local food and beverage businesses in Downtown, the week-long promotion encourages Missoulians and their guests to enjoy all the different offerings while providing opportunities to win prizes through social media.
“Feed your soul and fuel your neighborhood,” is the theme of this month’s campaign to support locally-owned food and beverage business, including coffee shops, full-service restaurants, bars, breweries, distilleries, food trucks and more.
“Downtown Missoula offers a wealth of diversity in the food and beverage industry, and bars and restaurants have been heavily impacted by the pandemic,” said Ashley Larkin, commercial loan officer at First Montana Bank and incoming president of the Missoula Downtown Association (MDA) Board of Directors. “With a focus on supporting these MDA members, our team is showcasing all the different offerings and creating ways for folks to win Downtown Gift Cards while they’re dining downtown.”
Downtown Missoula has a wealth of amazing options, including eight new restaurants that opened their doors in 2020, such as Cranky Sam Public House, Pangea, Stave & Hoop, Ducrey Craft Chocolate, and many others. Long-standing Missoula favorites such as The Depot, El Cazador, the Iron Horse and Ciao Mambo, among others, continue to offer amazing food and beverages.
Those who follow along on Missoula Downtown’s Facebook or Instagram have a chance to win $50 Downtown Gift Cards, good at over 200 MDA-member businesses. Promotions include Take-Out Tuesday & Thursday, Lunchtime Love, French Fry Friday, Brunch-tastic Weekend, as well as Dine Local Fanatic Giveaway featuring a package valued at over $300 in goodies from Missoula food and beverage businesses.
