With soaring temperatures, it’s hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. MCT is already looking forward to the change of seasons and the start of our new fall line-up of fun, educational opportunities for kids in our area.
September brings a treat for the whole family with Cinderella! Cinderella! This is professional theatre designed specifically for children. Your family will enjoy the creative retelling of the timeless fairytale classic, performed by professional actors on our stage.
Performing Arts Classes provide opportunities for kids to take to the stage and develop life skills through participation in the performing arts. This year, students in grades 6 through 9 will bring The Lion King Jr. to life. Rehearsals for this show begin in early September, with performances in October.
Children, grades Kindergarten through 5th grade, will perform the enchanting story, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Kids, in November. Rehearsals for this show begin in October.
Finally, during the school year, on most days when school isn’t in session, MCT’s Play in a Day will keep kids learning and having fun. Each Play In a Day has a different theme and culminates in a performance the kids create in just a single day.

Registration for all fall performing arts camps and Play in a Day camps, as well as tickets to upcoming MCT Children’s Theatre performances, will be available beginning Friday, July 14th on the MCT website. Space is limited for all camps, so don’t delay!
