Single-game tickets for the University of Montana’s 2017 football game at the University of Washington are set to go on sale next week.
The Grizzlies will travel to Seattle on Saturday, September 9 to face the Huskies, with kickoff time from Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium (70,083) yet to be determined.
Grizzly Scholarship Association members will get exclusive first access to tickets from May 1-5.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Saturday, May 6 at GrizTix.com, and will be available to purchase in person on Monday, May 8 at the Adams Center Box Office or over the phone by calling 1-888-MONTANA. Tickets cost $68 each.
This game marks the first time Montana has played an opponent from the Pac-12 conference in more than a decade when the Griz played at Oregon in 2005.
Montana is 1-16-1 all-time against Washington. Both institutions were members of the former Pacific Coast Conference from 1924-1950, and have not played each other in football since 1951 when Washington won 58-7. The lone win for the Griz came in 1920 when UM traveled to Seattle and took home an 18-14 win. The teams also tied, 6-6, in Seattle in 1929.
Montana is coming off a 6-5 season in 2016, missing the FCS playoffs for just the third time since 1993.
Washington is coming off one of its best seasons in program history, winning the Pac-12 Championship and advancing to the national semi-final at the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl where the Huskies were defeated by Alabama 24-7.
Kickoff time and broadcast details of the UM/UW game will be announced at a later date.
