Be a kid again, and bring the kids, when A Carousel for Missoula celebrates its 21st birthday and the Grand Opening of its new expansion this Saturday, May 28.
An opening speech by A Carousel for Missoula Foundation President Max Murphy, and the ribbon cutting on the expansion is scheduled for 9:45am, on the plaza at the Carousel.
Following the ceremony, you are invited to ride for free until 7pm. From 10am until noon, John Thompson will continue work on the limestone panels, which have been mounted on the outside, east wall of the new addition. Carousel board members and other volunteers will answer questions about the new space, and will be hosting tables with glitter tattoos and crafts for the kids.
Also from 10am until noon, the gift shop will be offering 10% off all non-‐commission items, and will feature a sales table with lots of crazy specials. The gift shop is also the place to go to purchase a season pass, good for unlimited rides for one year, for one person at half price, just $25 ~ but only from 10am until noon.
The fun continues from noon until 5pm, when all medium Pepsi fountain drinks will be just $1.
Please help the Carousel celebrate its birthday, and the successful completion of its new space, this Saturday, from 10am until 7pm, with fun activities, gift shop specials from 10am to noon, and $1 medium fountain Pepsi drinks in concessions from noon to 5pm.
