A welder/mechanic works on bulk delivery vehicle fabrication. Applicants must have a mechanical background, valid driver’s license and own hand tools. Experience is preferred, but employer is willing to train an energetic and dependable person. This employee is responsible for all phase welding and must have the ability to operate a grinder, air tools, and hand tools to disassemble and assemble tankers brought in for refurbishment. An excavation foreman position requires at least three years of excavation experience, including residential, and heavy equipment operation experience. Other qualifications include experience running construction crews, leadership abilities, a current driver’s license and the ability to pass a drug test. This employee is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of boilers and turbine generators and ancillary equipment, using electronic, pneumatic, and hand controls. The engineer maintains proper steam pressures and boiler water levels; adjusts equipment to maintain and meet steam-load requirements and attends to boiler auxiliaries; ensures the turbine generator efficiency by closely monitoring exhaust pressures; and watches gauges, recorders and meters, and controls for correct operations and record keeping. Duties include maintaining a boiler log every three hours on boiler and generator parameters; mixing and injecting boiler and line chemicals; monitoring and regenerating water softening systems; and performing general housekeeping in the plant. Requirements include at least four years of experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and pressure vessels requiring a first-class license to operate, a first-class boiler operator in Montana, and a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Job #10146811 pays $22.47 per hour.

Wildland firefighters are needed now to fight forest and range fires. Applicants must have a current red card and be able to show employer their certifications. This is physically demanding and occasionally hazardous work. Firefighters must be able to hike with weights averaging 45 pounds, to hike through steep and rugged terrain, to be able to travel throughout the county for extended periods of time, and to report for duty within an hour of call from employer. To work for a wood products company, an electrical supervisor needs a proven track record of machinery troubleshooting, repair and installation. Requirements include strong PLC skills, extensive knowledge of relay logic, and ability to coach and lead a diverse workforce. Working knowledge of all composite panel operations and associated equipment is desirable and five years of supervisory experience is a plus.
