The Missoula Community Theatre is holding an open audition for the roles in The Sound of Music on Sunday, October 4th, at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. Please use the Main Street entrance. There is a wide variety of roles available for adults, as well as a limited number of roles for children under 16. The minimum age to audition is 6 years old. No advance preparation is required.
Audition schedule:
12:30-2:30 p.m. (children ages 6 to 16)
2:00-3:00 p.m. (parents and children who wish to audition together)
2:30-6:00 p.m. (adults, including ages 17 and older)
Michael McGill, MCT’s Executive Director, will direct the show and also serve as the music director. While the show involves movement, there is no dance audition.
Please note that The Sound of Music will have an extended run of three (3) weeks. The dates are December 3-6, 8-13 and 16-20 at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.
