A resource conservationist is needed for a combination of field work and office work year-round. This position will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act, implement district supervisors’ decisions, and serve as a liaison with the county attorney, Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, and other agencies, as well as working extensively with the public, rural landowners, and other groups. Duties include providing technical expertise to the public, program management in natural resources, and supervision of district staff. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in physical, natural science, or natural resources, with at least five years of experience in the natural resource field.
