Square Dance – Balled in Burlap (COUNTRY/DANCE) at The Top Hat Lounge
Description: The first Tuesday of every month, put on your dancing shoes and get yourself down to the Top Hat for a Square Dance, featuring live old time stringband music. It doesn’t matter if you know how to do-si-do or if you have ever square danced before. All dances are taught and you’ll learn as you go. Bring a partner or find one on the dance floor – traditional square dancing is about meeting folks and having a good time. Dances are free and open to the public. Dance starts at 7:30 pm. All ages until 9:00 PM, 21 after 9:00 PM.

Soul Kitch’n Blues Boogie & Jam Session (BLUES/R & B) at the Dark Horse

Description: The Soul Kitch’n Blues Band invites local blues boogie fans and musicians to cook up the jams at 9 pm every Wednesday at the Dark Horse, located in the rear of the Sunrise Saloon. Bluesy musical concoctions span the gamut from Delta ditties to Chicago cookers to New Orleans bayou flavors to funky RnB grooves. Musicians are encouraged to bring their skills to the table. Sign up begins at 9pm. There is a $50 prize for the best act each Wednesday. Free!!!
