University of Montana defensive linemen Derek Crittenden and Trevor Rehm have been named to Co-SIDA’s 2014 Capital One All-District Academic Team, which requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.33, and is comprised of 24 players.
Crittenden, a 6-3, 240-pound junior defensive end from Whitefish, Mont., maintains a perfect 4.0 grade point average while majoring in chemistry, and was also an all-district academic team selection last season. He has played in all nine games this season and is 14th on the squad with 15 total tackles.
A 6-3, 265–pound senior from Dillon, Mont., Rehm (pronounced: Raim), is currently enrolled in graduate school to earn his MBA, and carried a 3.73 GPA as an undergrad, majoring in business administration. He has started all nine games at defensive tackle this season, and is seventh on the team with 40 tackles.
Crittenden and Rehm now advance to the national ballot for the Capital One All-America Team, which will be announced Dec. 5, 2014.
