The Missoula Children’s Theatre kicks off the 2014-15 school year with Tom Sawyer, the fall after school performing arts class. Tom Sawyer! What do you do with a boy like that? This American Literature classic has been a favorite for generations, and here’s a musical adaptation that will please audience and performers alike!
Classes are held after school on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Those registering may select their preference of class dates. All children participate in an audition, are cast in a role, and perform in the show. The first week begins on Wednesday, September 3rd and Thursday, September 4th. The Monday/Wednesday class will perform on Saturday, October 11th and the Tuesday/Thursday class will perform on Sunday, October 12th. Show times are 3:00 & 5:00 p.m. each day. Enjoy the escapades of Tom, Huck, and Becky and a little bit of Mark Twain’s Americana this fall! All classes and performances will be held at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.
