Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ popular Becoming an Outdoors-Woman summer workshop is set for August 1-3 at Boulder Hot Springs near Boulder.
Registration is now open and women are encouraged to sign up with a friend and learn a new activity or improve existing skills.
Participants choose four classes from a variety of topics including basic gun handling, rifle and shotgun training, fishing, map and compass reading, kayaking, plant identification, mountain biking, outdoor survival and more. Anyone 18 years of age or older may participate. The fee ranges between $195 – $275 and includes class instruction, meals and lodging.
