Competition was tough with an ensemble of 68 varieties, but Back Country Scottish Ale from Lewis and Clark Brewing Company swept three categories and achieved The Best of Show at the 22nd Annual Garden City BrewFest.
Bayern Brewing also had a strong showing with Schwarzbier and Dump Truck winning their categories. Competition was tough and many varieties sold out. Never before has BrewFest hosted such a large variety of brews.
Congratulations to the winners and big thanks to the brewers for providing good competition for the Downtown community to enjoy. Thanks also to The Zoo City Zymurgists for providing their discerning palettes.

We are very proud that again and again Montana-made beers sweep these competitions. We believe Montana beer stands with the finest in the world.”
Dostal continued, “BrewFest gets bigger and better every year thanks to the quality of the event planning, music, food options and of course, the beer. The crowds prove this festival brings all that is good in every category. We look forward to next year!”
