Dragon Hollow Playarea, next to A Carousel for Missoula, will be haunted for Halloween, from 6 to 8pm, Fri., Oct. 18 through Sun., Oct. 20, and Fri., Oct. 25 through Wed., Oct. 30. The thrills and chills of Haunted Hollow are designed for children under 12 and their grownups.
A trip through Haunted Hollow includes a visit to the Witches Hovel, a spooky ride on the Carousel, experiments with a mad scientist, plus travel through the dragon’s lair, past the bone collector and into the haunted corn patch. Scares are just $4 for children under 12 and $6 for older souls.
“I survived Haunted Hollow” t-shirts will be for sale to commemorate visits.
“Haunted Hollow is a fun fundraiser for A Carousel for Missoula, and it offers younger children a touch of fright for the Halloween season,” says Theresa Cox, Executive Director of A Carousel for Missoula.
“Anyone who loves Halloween will enjoy a visit to Haunted Hollow, but we want to be sure younger visitors won’t be too scared to come back to enjoy the Carousel and Dragon Hollow when the haunting ends.”
This year, guests will have the opportunity to receive a glow-in-the-dark wristband for a donation of $2 to ‘Spirit of Children,’ Spirit Halloween’s charity effort to make hospitals less scary for children.
The Carousel also has Trick or Treat children’s ride coupons for sale for just 40¢ each as a sugar free alternative for Halloween candy. Stop in the gift shop to grab a pile for the spooks who visit you this Halloween.
