A local property management company needs a full-time maintenance technician for rental unit maintenance and repairs. Applicants must have two years of verifiable experience as a handyman / home remodeler or contractor. The technician must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record, along with his or her own transportation and general maintenance hand tools. The position requires independent work, the ability to lift 75 pounds or more, and considerable paperwork. Background checks will be conducted. The technician’s duties include painting, carpentry, sheet rock, electrical and plumbing repairs. Applicants who have been self-employed at this work are encouraged to apply. This employee supervises the front-end staff and is shift supervisor in the manager’s absence. Duties include opening and closing the store, completing inventory management and sales duties.
