A fast-growing software company is seeking a full time Software Engineer.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and expert working knowledge of scripting languages HTML and Java Script. The company prefers applicants have experience working with Java environments like Apache Tomcat and databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. The employer prefers that applicants have experience in packaged enterprise software implementation projects with special emphasis on Enterprise-wide Web-based applications.
Applicants must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Property and Casualty Insurance knowledge is a plus. The successful candidate is able to think logically, communicate clearly, do extensive analysis, and has the desire to learn. The employer is willing to train on all other aspects of the work if the applicant has strong HTML and Java knowledge.
The Software Engineer is responsible for configuring and customizing SurePower Innovation as part of the Professional Services team. The successful applicant will work with teams of engineers and business analysts to meet new and existing customers’ software system demands.

A local non-profit is hiring a Development Coordinator.
Applicants should have at least one to two years’ experience in fundraising or related areas. The position requires experience with successful grant writing as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship skills, and the ability to work independently in a multi-layered team environment while fostering relationships, teamwork and collaboration.
The Development Coordinator will support and assist the Executive Director in developing and implementing efforts to raise revenue through donations, events, grants and planned gifts that enhance and serve the programs, services and mission of the organization. This position’s focus is on donor communication, acknowledgements, grant work and keeping the development program highly organized through database maintenance and good customer service.
This is a full-time position requiring occasional evenings or weekends. The wage depends on experience. The employer offers competitive benefits, including health insurance and 40 hours of sick and vacation time per year, after the probation period has been satisfied.
