An Internet-based GPS mapping company is seeking a GIS Specialists with Database experience.
The company is expanding quickly and now is your chance to join their team and be one of their leaders. Applicants must have three years’ experience working with ArcGIS as well as solid programming and development skills.
This position requires experience using a database to query and edit map data. Candidates must be willing to relocate or live in the Missoula Area.
As a GIS Specialist you will develop map related applications, collaborate on the development of GPS maps for recreational use, and maintain GIS data editing. You will be using map data processing and manipulation using ArcGIS 10, and other mapping applications. The company is based out of Missoula, Montana.
The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week, generally day shift, Monday through Friday. Flexible work hours and location are a benefit of this job and occasional work from home is a possibility after demonstration of excellent work ethic. The salary is from 40 to 60K based on experience.
