Hey families! The Missoula Kids’ Marathon training run is coming up this Thursday at Washington Grizzly Stadium.
The gates open at 5:00 and there will be music, a Monte visit, and stretching before the run, which starts at 5:30.
This is a fun training run around the stadium and a chance to pick up your t-shirt and race number before race day on July 7.
If you haven’t signed up for the Missoula Kids’ Marathon, you can sign up at the training run. Only $10 – such a great deal.
When you get on the field at the training run, look for someone holding your school sign. If your child is in preschool, there will be a sign there titled “Preschool” and all preschoolers will run together.
It looks like we’ll have a nice day for the run and look forward to a great group of enthusiastic runners.
Parents, please try to remember that no one can be in the stands, so you’ll need to take your pictures on the field.
Water will be provided, but it’s a great idea to bring your own water bottle. While supplies last, we’ll be giving out water bottles, too!
We will have porta potties there, but a quick bathroom break before you arrive will keep the lines down. No food is allowed on the field.
Run, have fun, be healthy!
