A Carousel for Missoula
101 Carousel Drive
(406) 549-8382
Opened in 1995, Missoula’s famous Carousel was the culmination of a labor of love for volunteers who contributed over 100,000 hours of time into the construction of 38 ponies, two chariots, 14 gargoyles, gargoyle frames and mirror frames, and the largest band organ in continuous use in the United States.
Situated on the bank of the Clark Fork River in Caras Park – a popular venue for events – the Carousel is a Missoula mainstay.
Carousel Hours: 11am-5:30 every day of the year–including Christmas Day (and rides are FREE on Christmas Day!) Exception: Pony restoration usually happens the first 2 weeks of January every year.
